Ann Caron BS Child Development
Ann has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development and Family Relationships and a Professional Teacher’s license. She comes to MCDBP with a strong background in child development and behavioral health. Ann has over 20 years of work experience as an educational consultant, developmental evaluator and teacher. She has worked with children and families in clinical, educational and home settings. Ann is interested in how food/nutrition impacts health and development as well as behavior.
John A. Salvato, MD, FAAP
Dr Salvato is a developmental and behavioral pediatrician who specializes in helping families take care of children with developmental, behavioral and learning issues. He was trained in child neurology, psychiatry and psychology. But first and foremost he is a pediatrician, which means he has dedicated his life to the health and well being of children.
Dr Salvato has provided pediatric services to Maine children and families since 1987. He was the Medical Director of the Edmund Ervin Pediatric Center at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta and Waterville for over 20 years. Dr Salvato felt it was important to serve his country in another capacity and try to effect change globally. So he joined the United States Navy and took the oath of office August 2011. He provided developmental and behavioral services to the children of our service men and women at a variety of bases around the world.
Dr Salvato lives by a standard of values which translates into an exemplary evaluation and plan of care.
